Benefits of Certification
The following is a list of benefits enjoyed by companies that are certified by the Alliance as ethical recruiters.
-
Affirm your organization’s commitment to ethical, responsible, and transparent recruitment practices and corporate social responsibility
One of every three of the top performing American businesses publicly report efforts to conduct their activities in a socially responsible manner (Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler [KPMG], 2008). Earning this status demonstrates a commitment to self-regulation and recognition of the economic benefits that stem from conducting business within a framework of social responsibility.
-
Gain recognition among a wide range of stakeholders
The Alliance’s Code is the first agreement to be drafted by a diverse group of stakeholders. Certified Ethical Recruiters (CERs) that agree to adhere to the Codes are recognized among national and international leaders in each industry:
- Voluntary Code of Ethical Conduct for the Recruitment of Foreign-Educated Health Professionals to the United States
- Teacher’s Code for Ethical International Recruitment and Employment Practices
-
Serve as an industry leader by engaging in our monitoring process
Alliance Codes have an independent third party verification system that differs from other agencies with their internal code of ethics.
-
Improve the quality of recruitment and client confidence in your organization
Active monitoring allows continually feedback on the quality of the recruitment process. CERs use this data to improve practices, which lead to higher job satisfaction, reduced turnover rates (Currie and Hill 2012) and equates to cost-savings for the employer.
-
Increase global exposure of your business
The Alliance visits sending countries to disseminate updated resources and directly engage with partner organizations in the recruitment process. Your organization will be listed as a CER on promotional material.
